There are a lot of ways on how to brainstorm a story. There are some ways that may seem effective in you and some will not. It depends on you on which ways are you going to take in.

We've listed down a 3 simple things you need to have in brainstorming a story:

1.) More brains- This is brainstorming, you need more brains on coming up to a good plot to your story. By inviting your friends or other writers, you will get to know other's opinion and ideas.

Just make sure that everyone of you will respect each other becauase this might be the cause of your F.O-friendship over.

Why have many brains while you can just sttle on your own ideas? Well it depends on you. Working with other people will give you more ideas and write an effective story if you can hear your future readers opinion.

2.) References- You can read books, online articles or short poems on Facebook that you think that will motivate you. But be careful on having this because sometimes, their story might become your story as well and you might go to jail for plagiarism.

Plagiarism is a big NO, NO in writing. If you want to use their story, give them a proper credits.

References will just help you on knowing your style well, how to write a story per chapters, how did they end the story and many more.

3.) Initial Plan- As the saying goes, you should not go in a battle without a sword.

In brainstorming, you should have an initial plan or a simpe idea for it to become a smooth sailing brainstorming session. Always be prepared and outline the things you need to before you go to the real battle of writing.
